Seriously, though. I won! I totally lucked out and just found out that I won Sins of the Son by Linda Poitevin! Super excited!! Many thanks to Seeing Night Reviews for putting the contest up! And super extra thanks because they emailed me twice to let me know and the first had gotten lost in the Ether of Cyberspace; I'd have never known!

So it's time to party!! I love winning. It makes me feel all giddy inside. :D

I am sick and tired!!

I've been down for the count for the past 24 hours. I'm sitting up, however, so that's a plus! Yay, go team!

Unfortunately, my brain isn't working entirely well, so today's blog post is going to be super short. In fact, all I'm going to say is: I WON! I know, I can't believe it! What did I win, you ask? Well, lookee here!

This is my favorite day of the year and is- as it is to many- also the most important day of the year for me. I am so excited!

I'm keeping things super simple and won't be back until Monday, but in the mean time...

Here Comes the Sun!

O. M. Goodness. I'm in the Pacific Northwest and there's a huge ball of brightness hanging in the sky that I am entirely unfamiliar with. As a defense against the unknown, I shall don my warm clothing (it's still near freezing, here) and run outside and bask in its glory before it hides, again.

I know, not much of a "defense" per se, but it'll make me smile and that's important, too, right?

As an aside, don't stop trying those contests because.. guess what?

Kids slept for OVER 12 hours. I think we're on the mend! Yay go team!
