Question of the Week:
"Has a book ever left you feeling depressed?"
(If so, make sure to share what it was and why)
Oh, most definitely. Karen Marie Moning is one of my favorite UF authors, but I won't lie: a few of her Fever series books broke my heart! I won't put up any spoilers for those of you who haven't had the pleasure of them, but she doesn't play! Deaths, heart breaks... even the unrequited love!! It was almost too much to bear. Thank goodness I did, though, because Shadowfever was amaaaazzziinngg. :)
While this one didn't "depress" me, per se, it's the only book that I can remember straight up crying while reading. I was sobbing my little heart out.
What about ya'll? What books have torn you up? :)
LOVED Shadowfever and the whole series and sad to see it end.

New Follower. I haven't read this series yet!! It is in my TBR pile but I have been putting it off because I wasn't sure of the HEA. I know I am missing out with Barrons so I am going to have to put on my big girl panties and finally read the series!! LOL :)

Ooo, it isn't over... :D ICED comes out this year and Barrons and Mac continue to make appearances, mwahahahahaha.... And Ryodan is involved. Ooo he makes me tingly. :D
ReplyDeleteOooo, you need to read it! You'll wanna swat Mac throughout the first four books... but you're supposed to want to... and Jericho? Oh my goodness... he makes all of it worth it. :D Shadowfever is unbelievable.
ReplyDeleteFollowing you back babe. Still have not read the last book in the Fever series. Love Nalini Singh. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteGood pick with KMM, that was a depressing series for me - kind of on the same lines as The Hunger Games.
ReplyDeleteI still need to read Nalini Singh! Thanks for participating in the follow!
